Guest harbours in Brandasund
Brandasund has been a safe harbour and stopping place along the coast for hundreds of years. Today, visiting boats can berth on both sides of the sound, within a short walk of shops, the coastal setting and walking trails.
There are two distinct harbour areas. Services, prices, opening hours and available capacity may change, so contact the relevant host before or on arrival.
E. Johnsen & Sons
At the old trading post you will find a guest harbour and general store. Listed facilities include electricity, sanitary facilities, laundry, fuel, waste sorting and groceries. A seasonal café may also operate nearby.
Skjeret
On the other side of the sound is Skjeret Landhandel, with guest berths and several services for visiting boats. Listed facilities include a shop, fuel, sanitary facilities and laundry. The historic store is also linked to the story of Nillo at Skjeret.
